The media meeting of “Vabel” held in Mellat Cineplex in Tehran on Feb.9, 2023 as a part of 41st Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).
Addressing the audience, Sepehr Seifi, the film producer condoled with Iran over a magnitude 5.9 earthquake that hit Khoy in the northwest.
He also expressed sympathies to two Muslim countries of Turkey and Syria which have been affected by a huge devastating earthquake.
Commenting on “Vabel”, he added: “We are always looking for innovative movements. We felt it could be the same for “Vabel”. First, we chose the script and then we found a director. The script of this movie is social and family oriented and tries to address a problem in the best possible way,” he stated.
He added that the main theme of the film is about family, which is considered as a global issue.
The FIFF is a major film event, which is organized every year to celebrate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Presided by Mojtaba Amini, the 41st Fajr International Film Festival will be held from February 1-11, 2023, in Tehran.
