Fajr International Film Festival has organized sightseeing tours for this year’s guests.
Program Manager Mohammad Salavatifard says there will be 30 night-walking and 10 day-walking tours for guests to celebrate mountains, adventure, culture and environment in Tehran.
According to him, the guests will visit the festival palace as well as galleries, art house theaters, universities, media arts centers, cinematheques, and tourism sites throughout the capital.
The official notes that the programmers are determined to make this year’s edition a different one. “One of the most important and necessary things that happened this year was to get the festival’s software program up and running. It helped us register our international guests and issue ID cards. All participants must have a valid ID card during the festival, even the programmers.”
In conclusion, Salavatifard said there will be three hotels to accommodate all international guests. “There will be 150 volunteers to accompany them during the annual event. The guests will have access to information about all sightseeing tours, thereby choosing the ones they wish to take. The organizers have already started planning for next year’s tours.”

Presided over by Reza Mirkarimi, the 35th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will take place from 21 to 28 April in Tehran.
