The media meeting of “Mud Room” held in Mellat Cineplex in Tehran on Feb.8, 2023 as a part of 41st Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).
Addressing the audience, Mohammad Ali Asgari, the film director said war is a category that mankind has always been involved with while it likes to be in peace.
“We wanted to portrait the character of the hero in this film who is coming from the ordinary people,” he added.
He also talked about the dramatic part of the story, adding that sacrifice is one of the most important issue of the film to deal with.
Ali Asgari added that we love stories since childhood. Storytelling has always been in the culture of the East, and in my opinion, films with a poor story are doomed to fail.
The FIFF is a major film event, which is organized every year to celebrate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Presided by Mojtaba Amini, the 41st Fajr International Film Festival will be held from February 1-11, 2023, in Tehran.
