Actress of “Leather Coat” said she was constantly in contact with addicted persons to play her role in the film.
Sara Hatami made the remarks in an exclusive interview with the 41st Fajr International Film Festival’ s press center at Mellat Cineplex in Tehran on Feb. 5th.
About the process of reaching the desired role, she said: The film crew helped me a lot. We always did a series of exercises before starting the shooting. I was able to get the role with the information I gathered during my research in this regard.
“Since the time I realized that I have to play this role, I started communicating with addicts almost every day to know their lifestyle. I was in contact with them, in a way that my lifestyle practically changed during film production.”
The FIFF is a major film event, which is organized every year to celebrate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Presided by Mojtaba Amini, the 41st Fajr International Film Festival will be held from February 1-11, 2023, in Tehran.
