The first series of the films which are going to be screened for the international guests of the festival have been selected.
According to the public relations office of the 34th FIFF, 22 Iranian films will be screened for the international guests of the festival, including the festival managers, film buyers, and distributers.
Other films will be added to the following list in the upcoming days.
The selected films are as follows: “Life + 1 Day” (Saeed Roustaei), “Sleep Bridge” (Oktay Barahani), “Standing in the Dust” (Muhammad Hussein Mahdavian), “My Brother, Khosro” (Ehsan Biglari), “Born in 65” (Majid Tavakoli), “House in 41st Street” (Hamid Reza Ghorbani), “Blind Spot” (Mehdi Golestaneh), “When Did You See Sahar Last?” (Farzad Motamen), “Barcode” (Mustafa Kiaee), “Sound and Fury” (Houman Seyedi), “Cyanide” (Behrouz Shoeibi), “Zapas” (Borzou Niknejad), “We Will Not Get Used To” (Ebrahim Ebrahimian), “Malaria” (Parviz Shahbazi), “Mina’s Choice” (Kamal Tabrizi), “Breath” (Narges Abiar), “The Girl” (Reza Mirkarimi), “The Stolen” (Bijan Mirbagheri), “Muhammad, the Messenger of God”, (Majid Majidi), “Duet” (Navid Danesh), and “Sister” (Marjan Ashrafizadeh).
The 34th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will be held from April 20th to April 25th, 2016 in Charsou Cineplex, under the supervision of the well-known Iranian filmmaker, Mr. Reza Mirkarimi, who is also the Managing Director of Khaneh Cinema.
