1948, Haifa occupied city, Palestine. Dr. Saeed lives in Haifa with his wife, Latifa, and their son, Farhan. He sees Simeon – his childhood neighbor and playmate – placing a bomb in a train. Informing the police about the incident is the beginning of his troubles.
