In a small village of nomads, there is a sacred tree, which holds the secrets of generations. The village is full of peace and grace. The young man (Esen) from a poor family is in love with the daughter (Begimay) of the main bai of the village. But her father despise the young man and humiliate him at every opportunity. One day Esen, angry after an unfair loss in the game, steals meat prepared for important guests, and gives it to his dog. There is a scandal in the village, it is impossible to cook another meal, there is no firewood. In order to cook the meat, they cut down the sacred tree. Everything changes overnight, chaos ensues.
Esen and Begimay run away. They will wander, be reborn, meet, make fateful actions and change their lives and the lives of their people.

There is a scandal in the village, it is impossible to cook another meal, but there is no firewood. In order to cook the meat, they cut down the sacred tree -“Mazar”. Everything changes overnight, chaos ensues. Hard trials are coming for everyone. The nature generously gives goodness, but at times, it cruelly punishes those who don’t honor its laws. Esen and Begimay run away. They wander around, are reborn, take fateful actions and change their life and the lives of their people. “The Song of the Tree” is shot according to the legend based on the real events which were handed down many generations ago. It will tell about injustice, courage and a pure love.
