Some members of the Commonwealth of Independent States held a meeting with the organizers of the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Milad Tower, west of Tehran, on Friday (February 9).
At the beginning of the meeting on the 9th day of the prestigious event, representatives from the seven countries reviewed ways to expand cooperation.
The head of the international department of the 42nd FIFF Raed Faridzadeh, the head of the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs, Mohammad Khazaee and the managing director of Farabi Cinema Foundation Majid Zeinolabedin were present in the meeting.
The FIFF is the most prestigious cultural event being held annually in Iran in February on the occasion of the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
