Director of 41st Fajr International Film Festival, Mojtaba Amini stated in an interview with IRINN on Thursday (Feb.9,2023) that the international section of the 41st FIFF was very vigorous and warmly welcomed by cinema fans.
Amini said that the last days of the 41st Fajr International Film Festival is currently underway in Tehran’s Mellat Cineplex.
He pointed out that among 578 works, a total of 18 works entered the competition section and the nominees will be announced soon.
Moreover, guests from different countries, including Japan, Italy, Portugal and Spain, participated in film market held at Milad Tower , Amini noted.
“We must not forget that we have a rich historical background of culture and art in the field of cinema and we should not pay attention to the hue and cry of the Western mass media,” Amini underscored.
