The media meeting of “Bawardeh Flowers” held in Mellat Cineplex in Tehran on Feb.9, 2023 as a part of 41st Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).
Addressing the audience, Mehrdad Khoshbakht, the film director said all locations of the film were in Abadan.
Talking about the slow rhythm of the film, he added I saw the film with you and this film was not ready yet.
He noted that film which was screened with the attendance of Oil Minister Javad Oji was also incomplete, and I told the minister that this film will be finished in a month and half.
As per the synopsis of the film, half of Khorramshahr has been occupied by the Baathists, engineer Shirani is thinking about keeping the lights on in the refinery in the midst of war and insurrection in Abadan. There are many incidents along the Bahmanshir River, while there is not a single step left until morning.
The FIFF is a major film event, which is organized every year to celebrate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Presided by Mojtaba Amini, the 41st Fajr International Film Festival will be held from February 1-11, 2023, in Tehran.
